Wisconsin trounces UNLV, 41-21
The No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers avoided a potential upset on the road by burying the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, 41-21.
The Badgers had just a three-point leading heading into halftime thanks to two turnours that kept UNLV in the game.
Wisconsin came out with a purpose in the second half and outscored UNLV 24-0 in the third quarter to seal up the victory.
The weather conditions certainly weren’t good for either team, as the game was played in 90-degree heat.
Running back John Clay finished with 17 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns to lead the ground attack for Wisconsin. Montee Harris also added two touchdowns.
